Taken in Kyoto. Autumn is very big in Japan and towards the end of the season, many parks have what is called 'light up' where obviously, they illuminate the trees at night. It's amazing to see, and it's very popular. Unfortunately, we had to pay to get in to see this, but it was worth it.
I tripod would have been really helpful, as this was one of the only shots I took which was sharp enough to display.
I quite like the way the branches and leaves appear as if from nowhere. This shot was handheld, with a shutter speed of around 1/14th.
