Just Around The Corner by dtownley1 Just Around The Corner by dtownley1
suburban area of Himeji. Been wanting to photograph this spot for a while, but the weather was always so bad previously.

No cropping or alterations made, except for minor sharpening.
Nikon D40x with circular polariser.

I really liked this the moment I saw it. :D The colours and all the elements just work so well together, and the lighting is good on the eyes and I really like how the sky looks! <--[so very detailed in commenting]

I think just one tinytinytiny thing though - the wire in the top left corner... just one small line of black. XD It's not that noticeable, but... I dunno?! <--[not sure what to say, now that I've pointed it out :|]

Either way, great shot! Faving this too. :D

wow, this shot is beautiful O_O, I'm not usually a fan of bright sunny photography, the colours hurt my eyes. But I love this O.o.

I use a Nikon D40x. Lenses I have are a 18-55, and a 55-200 zoom. Also have a few filters which come in very handy. I think this camera has come down in price a fair bit. It's pretty small and easy to manage, so great for people who want to take nice shots without too much to lug around.

I absolutely love the sky in this shot, so perfectly still and clear where it needs to be.
I'm not fond of the large brown expanse in it, but I'm not sure the photo would work as well without it...strange.
Great as ever Dt.
