OK, my entry for the Japanese Club mascot contest. A stylised Kabuki character, based loosely on several iconic kabuki actors.
Done from scratch as a vector.

Lol.. very cool and simple. The gradient in the hair looks pretty funky, and I reckon the eyes look really cool. I like it how there isn't much shading, gives it a very simple look really. Great stuff man, good luck with the contest!

yeah, I think he's very Kabuki-like, in the way he speaks and acts. Even his theme song (with the 'yooo' voice at the start is from Kabuki)
Also, one of his poses (also in the Naruto Gamecube games) is Kabuki inspired.
